Shelly D. Clements is the founder of Clements Catalyst Consulting Group, LLC, a consulting firm dedicated to empowering leaders in schools, nonprofits, and labor organizations to shift systems, dismantle inequities, and create sustainable change. With a distinguished career in labor relations, public education, and equity-centered leadership, she brings decades of experience guiding organizations through complex transformation.
A fierce advocate for BIPOC leaders, Shelly has mentored, taught, and developed rising changemakers—particularly women of color—helping them become influential voices in predominantly white institutions. Her work as a leadership development and DEI consultant combines strategic advising, participant-centered facilitation, and tools grounded in intersectionality, values-based leadership, and cultural fluency.
Shelly’s approach lives at the intersection of truth-telling and transformation, empowering leaders and organizations alike to change, empower, and evolve.
